YOUR RIGHT TO REPRODUCE COPYRIGHTED VIDEO MATERIAL IS RESTRICTED BY LAW. AdFaktory will not knowingly and willfully violate any copyright restrictions provided by Colorado Statute, United States Law or International Agreement. Further, we respect the rights of producers of audio-visual material that may NOT have been formally copyright-protected, insofar as the propriety of their material is concerned. Certain licenses are granted for audio-visual material that is purchased, borrowed, rented, given or otherwise obtained by the public, and these licenses do restrict your rights to copy same... For example, a rented video grants the lessor the license to unlimited personal enjoyment of that tape for the time period as defined by the rental agreement (with further restrictions regarding public performance, broadcast, performance for profit, and so forth). These licenses vary with the different agreements entered into when the audio/visual material was borrowed, rented, purchased or otherwise acquired. For instance, if you purchase an antique recording, a limited-edition box set or collector's issue of an audio product, videotape or other software, you may have certain rights to reproduce the original so as not to corrupt, damage or devalue it. Yet you can still use the dub, backup or copy for the original intended purpose. Further, AdFaktory generates a tremendous amount of original video material for a myriad of clients and producers, so we are naturally sensitive to requests to reproduce videos that do not carry express permission from the producers. It is in the very nature of our own business interests to protect other video producers from unwanted or unlawful piracy or duplication. Nevertheless, it is not feasible for us to research individual license agreements, special permission, or copyright arrangements on every duplication job that comes in.
